One of Poker’s biggest tells, is in the neck
People say that a poker players biggest “tell” or an involuntary communication of that persons hand whether strong or weak, is in his/her neck. Watch the pulse, if you can see it beating, that person is bluffing. For those of you that get nervous, at crunch time in a big cash game or on the bubble for that $50k first place prize, might want to get a turtle neck.
? Of course there are many other tells, such as smoking, talking, folding hands, chip straightening, leaning back and more. If you are looking for tells, the first thing I would do is check his pulse! If I catch a read on that, I’m good, next look at his eyes. (hopefully he doesn’t have sunglasses)
